Welcome to the Schwaben House, the only Greenville SC restaurant for authentic German cuisine.

Our menu is a selection of those delicious lunch and dinner dishes you only find in the south of Germany. And yes, our chef is German, and he brought from the old world all the recipes for these tasty delights:

• Spaetzle, the southern egg noodle, fresh and hand made in our kitchen.
• Sauerbraten, our specialty marinated beef.
• Blaukraut, southern German style red cabbage.
• Maultaschen, our southern specialty, consisting of an outer layer of pasta dough with a filling made of minced meat, spinach and various spices.
• Semmelknoedel, bread dumplings, the delicious side for any meat dish.
• Pfannkuchen, the crepe style German pancake, served as dessert with blueberry

And we offer a choice of drinks, soft drinks, German beer, and white or red wines.

Location:

The Schwaben House is strategically located off Interstate 85 in Greenville SC, exit 54 Pelham Rd., easily accessible from Spartanburg up north and Anderson in the south. We are located next to the Greenville Library in the Pelham Oak business center, with plenty of parking opportunities.
